meet the directors

Our team of dynamic directors drive Yeshiva College forward with determination, passion, love and commitment to the school’s ethos and values. The directors ensure that their departments run smoothly and efficiently throughout the school year.

Natalie attended Torah Academy school, after which she studied at the seminary Midreshet Moriah. She then went on to study an education degree at Wits University. After marrying, Natalie moved to Cape Town where she spent the next 18 years. She worked at Herzlia School in the informal department, where she was also the acting head of Jewish studies. She was also the Rebbetzin of the Beit Midrash Morasha.

Natalie was principal of Phyllis Jowell pre-school and primary school in Camps Bay and chairman of Bnei Akiva from 2000 – 2001.

Natalie has been warmly welcomed at Yeshiva College where she envisions a school that ensures its graduates are passionate Jews who love Torah and Israel, who can freely practice their Yiddishkite in a sophisticated way, and serve as role models in the Jewish and secular communities. Natalie hopes that each child who passes through the Yeshiva College system is a contributor to the world.

Natalie has many passions, but her biggest obsession are her children. She loves doing her shlichut work, running, dancing and reading.

Natalie recently celebrated her 21st wedding anniversary with her husband and six children.

Natalie’s favourite quote: “We don’t see the world the way it is, we see the world the way we are.”
